Well I just tested this new product and here are the +'s and -'s...........

The new Z-8 has a pleasant smell, a little different than the Z-6. You can use it the same way as Z-6 but use LESS, if you don't ,you'll have to use an other dry towel to remove any smears (this is the only down fall but it's very minor) . Yesterday I drove down to the AC car show and home last night around midnight. This morning it checked to see how dusty/ dirty the car was to wash it before the rain. Well other than the back of the car, it looked almost as clean as before the trip ( around 200 miles). other than the wheels that were a little dusty the car looked great. It seems that the new z-8 is a little more slippery than the Z-6. I like it but a little goes a long way. I wish I had used it on my wheels but I'll do that after I wash my car again. The cost is some what higher than the Z-6 but I feel that it's money well spent.....;bt.

I also got a small sample of the new cleaner.... I had a small smudge abrasion on my roof, bird poop or something hit just above the rear view mirror. A little work with this new product and low and behold the mark was gone and due to the cleaner having some Z-2 in it the spot ( quarter size) was gone!!!!

I would recommend either product, easy to use and great results....

Nice report Bill (the check is in the mail  ) I have not been able to get Z-8 to streak, but if you have a load of Zaino polish on your car this would be possible to overload the system with a heavy dose of Z-8 and get some streaking, I guess I need to apply some polish to my cars, and yes a little goes a long way. ;) The Paint Cleanser works great, glad you liked it, that should be for sale in the next few weeks, the labels are being printed at this time.

Carl,

I had the same problem as Bill the first time I used it, put it on too heavy and it sort of smeared. I wiped with another towel left it sit overnight and wiped it lightly the next morning, came out great. It really makes my bright red color jump out and it really only takes a small amount. Looking forward to the polish.

Make sure the sprayer is adjusted so you get spray rather than a stream, I just can not get it to streak on my cars, I am going to try some new Zaino polish on the M5 over the next few days and in between coats use Z-8 to see if I can get it to streak, maybe the fact that I have been using and testing Z-8 for the past year plus makes it easier for me to use less, as said you will want to use less Z-8 than Z-6. :)

Carl....
Have you heard this...:?

I am actually MORE impressed with the Z2 PRO than the Z8.
Z2 PRO with Z6 REALLY made my car pop!

Z8 was good, but Z2 PRO with the Z6 REALLY made it glow....

Is Z6 still going to be produced, or is Z8 going to completely replace it?

No, both Z-6 and Z-8 will be made, they are two totally different products, my show car customers have been doing very well with Z-8, in fact several have picked up cases, I think they are drinking it. Z-2 Pro does work great, and it lasts. :)

I would think 2 things that can cause the streaking you guys mention is 1) trying to do too large of an area at a time and 2) humidity.

Also what Carl says having so much Z2 or Z5 underneath along with humidity would seem to cause this.

I have NOT had a problem with the new stuff but I do very small areas. For instance, I do the hood in 6 small squares at a time.

Humidity may be it. The day I had the problem it was raining, and I did the whole hood at one time. Most likely way too much Z-8 on fresh coat of Z-2 P. It was a Mag. Red C-6. I don't seem to have the problem on my car. But then again it's a white car. ;bt Glenn thanks for the kind words about my car.

The Z8 makes all the rubber peel off the rear quarters better than anything El has ever used...... :D

That is funny, the Zaino elf was driving by Sunday on our way home and did not think he had any Z-8 in his truck, it was under the seat :( The elf will have to do a better job, or stop when the bar is open. :D :D

Humidity could have been my problem to. I put it on Saturday afternoon when we were having some light showers.
Just trying to get it perfect for the ride to AC the next day in the rain.
