Some server settings were updated yesterday through normal upgrades and our forum script didn't like it one bit. I wasn't aware, but this older VB can not run with registerglobals turned off. (it's a server thing) anyway, we need it off for security reasons and the site wasn't able to run properly. I didn't even notice until I got a phone call. I just got home from work and I modified our code with a snippet of the newer VB code so it's able to run. Sorry for the confusion. please let me know if there are any other issues.

Thanks for fixing the problem. I appreciate your time and efforts.

I order the upgrade and sent you three e-mails from Jelsoft Enterprises. We will own the license for $xxx and I purchased the first time installation for $xxx ( I had no choice but to purchase this). The total was $xxx.

When you are ready I will send out a global e-mail as well as put a post on the web site to have everybody save their signatures, pictures, etc. before you implement the upgrade.

Hey WebGuy - thanks for all the hard work. Just an FYI, when I click "MARK ALL FORUMS READ", I get kicked to the Password Recovery Form. Also, if I click on "Get More" of the smiles, a blank screen appears.

Again, thanks for all the effort.

I can't get into "Edit Profile" or "Options". It takes me to the screen that requests my password be changed (seems it's happening all over the site). I also can't get into the "Moderator CP", it says I'm not logged in and it won't accept my password.

you guys just need to reresh each page and make sure you log in. you are seeing cached pages of the broken pages. they all work now, I just checked.

except for the smilie window?!!?

We're logged in (or we wouldn't be able to post). I can download the gascap, it says I'm a moderator, and I refreshed all my pages. I then tried to re-login, and it brings me to the password recovery page just like the others. I tried another browser and it goes immediately to the password recovery page as soon as I try to login.

Frankly, I'm afraid to reset my password in fear I won't be able to get logged back in at all. Please look again or better yet, get us upgraded because you'll probably have a whole host of other issues to deal with instead. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem with my getting into my profile. I'm on the site so I'm logged on.

I also notice the view conter is showing a high number of hits with some posts, like in the thousands.
