I would appreciate some information on where I can purchase better lights(PIAA) and size for my 03 C5. The other request is who can be trusted to do the installation. I would be grateful for anyones help. Tom

I recently purchase an 03 C5. This is after a 30 years hold on a vettes because of family, money, etc.(I had previously owner and purchase new a 1971 convt. and a new 1975 split top).
I love the C5, coupe, but would like to do something with the wind blowing in and causing the cheesey cloth material to blow all over. I have the top off all of the time. Is there some kind of compartment/shield to section off the area behind the seats, which would eliminate the problem? I would appreciate any help or advice.
Sincerely,
Tom
Joel,on a club trip to the NCM in BG in'01.I got a screw nail in one
of my runflats in my '99 FRC on a Sat.afternoon.Tony & I found a discount tire place that knew all about fixing runflats. In 30 minutes, the tire was as good as new and never leaked again. The
cost was $10. Several days later when I got home ,there was a handwritten postcard thanking me for my business and
signed with a hand drawn "smiley" face.Talk about "southern hospitality".
Also,I agree with Tony re Southampton Goodyear.Tom S.,the owner,is really helpful.
Hey guys,I don't know how this post got transposed to this thread???[RMJ_7/19/03]

I got mine from Exit 28 Motorsports. group purchase on Corvette Forum. com I think they were $169.'s shipping included. I had them installed at Berrell Auto in Willow Grove. The PIAA 1100x Fog/ Driving lights are great, my eyes are getting older and night vision isn't what it use to be... Thank God the eyes were first to go :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
As Bill said call RG at Exit 28, he should take good care of you. Berrel was the first one to install the PIAA's in a C5, I wonder who's mag red convertible they installed them in. ;)

Tom, there's 3 things you can do to lower (nothing eliminates it) the air flow blowing your cargo cover in your coupe all over the place. 1.) you can buy an air deflector that both Eckler's & Mid-America sells. This gizmo blows the air up over you and your passenger. ;yn 2.) you can also buy hatch lifters that when you take your top off, these lift up the coupe hatch and allows the air to pass smoothly right thru the hatch area. ;yn and 3.) finally you can remove the cheesy cargo cover and roll it up & put it under one of the 3 hatches in the cargo area. ;yn This is probably the only real fix if you want to stop all that fluttering. ;faz;tt ;faz As for me, I've gotten used to it!! And we take the top off when ever we can!! ;bt;bt
