I also visit an AR-15 web site and noticed this message. We're not alone, AOL also considers them spam.

AOL's spam filters are blocking e-mails generated by our server. If you have another e-mail address please use it to register.
If AOL is all you use..send an e-mail to accounts@ar15.com after you register and we will process your membership application.

What we have been finding is that many Fourms are using spyware, and if you have up to date antivirus protection, firewalls and more these sites will be a problem to get throuigh without your computer going crazy, I know I moderate a few sites with this problem. :( We have no problem with this Forum. :)

AOL has been a problem for ISPs for years. Like Carl said - it is only going to get worse with all the need for security.

Have often felt AOLs position is: They are right - the rest of the world is wrong! :mad: :mad: :mad:

I don't know who or what can help this greater issue, but blocking email sent from entire servers may help block true spammers, but as we've seen, is also blocking many legitimate emails, like from CCDV. I also have this problem with a few ISPs on C3VR.
