Here it's only Tuesday, three days after my first ECSCC race, and all I can think about is drag racing. So far I've analyzed my time slips countless times, listed my mistakes, and started to make up a strategy for the next race. I've caught myself thinking "I've got to get more seat time!". Also I need to greatly improve my reaction time.(do I go on the 2nd or 3rd light, bump or not, stage deep, ect.) Oh. and I can't forget my 60' time, that has to improve! Did I mention it only Tuesday? Dial in time' that's driving me nuts. Dial in soft and lift at the end? Who knows I don't! Right now all I know is that I can't wait until the next race. AND THAT'S 11 DAYS FROM NOW!!!

Tony, you talked me into this last year.

It's all your fault.

PS I'm having a blast.

Where you stage is based on your reaction times. If your reation times are consistant regardless if they are late or not - You will need to bump the car in. I am glad that you are having a blast and feel that you need to be at the track more often.
In time I am sure you will buy a pratice tree. Then you will know you are hooked.
I would play with rear tire pressure to get consistant and improved 60 foot times. Also check to see what the front tires are at. Having more air in the front tires will improve your reaction times. Any questions just ask. :)

With you leaving first most of the time you have that opportunity of playing that top end game.

Rob's the king at that! He can tell you about that aspect of the game too.

Talk to you soon!!!

I guess I will blame Tony for my car not running consistant.
Thanks Tony!! :D
Most of the people I spoke to said that a trans does not need to break in after a rebuild. I think I have the one trans that needs a few runs to work well.
Again - Thanks Tony :p

I've started a racing log. After I get some more runs in I'll look for you for advice.

Edgar, I have the track schedule and I have been going over all the dates to figure out the most time I can get out to the track without upsetting my wife.

If letting you guys in on the secret that the Corvette was not only made to look great but also run like a race horse then I’m guilty. The car was meant to race, so race we shall. :D

Tony,

Since everyone is blaming you for everything, can I blame you for my five grandchildren and another on the way in June?
And can I blame you for my younger daughter not being married yet. Heh, get with the program Tony!!!!
