Who are the CCDV Club Members?

I haven't ugraded many account over th past couple months. I have a real hard time determining who is a club member or not. (I don't have a list) Members needing their account upgraded should make a post in this forum requesting it. Including your real name would be helpful. You don't need to start a new thread, just reply to this one. I also need a board member to let me know that they are indeed a club member.

Joel, you account is setup to be able to download the gascap. what isn't working? do you get an error message? does it ask you to log in? do you have the acrobat reader installed? I see you are an AOL user, is it high speed or dialup? if dialup, click the download link and then wait. don't click on anything else. the gascap is a little under 2 meg so it's going to take you a good 15min before the page will load. You will have a blank page sitting on your screen appearing to do nothing for 15 minutes. eventually the downlaod will complete and the page will load. I would right click on the link and choose save target as. then save it to your hard drive. then open it locally after the fact. That way you'll at least be able to see that it's downloading.

her email is setup correctly as a club member. It's possible that this is an old issue that I already fixed since you also sent it via email. is she still having a problem. it sounds like she just isn't logged it. does it accept her password when she logs in or does she get an error?

Because I know so many people in so many clubs, that if I belong to one, I'd have to belong to all of them. Every club keeps asking me to join them. Not only that, being the administrator of a website and forum, I don't want to show any favoritism towards any one club, although I do think that the CCDV is number one in my book...sssshh, don't tell any one else I said that. :)

If you wish to get the Gas Cap on line and are not getting it on line now please E-mail me and I'll make sure that it's changed for you. It's great to get on line because you get it in color, and before the snail mail version is mailed!!! The big bonus to the club is that it saves printing and mail costs. Last year we saved over $1,500.'s by members switching to the e-mail version!! To those who made the change THANKS!!! For those who wish to switch it's not too late!!!!

I've created a new email account for my parents....hotmail....reregistered them under Nick & Bunny, now they have a screen name and password to that email. But they did not receive an email to activate them.....this is the problem I had last time.... it was a blame on aol sending it to spam folder.... does it do that to the hotmail account too.... I thought I had this thing finally..... GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm setting up a meeting with Jeff Jr. (web guy) for early next week to discuss this and other problems. Ed has asked me to take on the web site as a liaison between the web master and CCDV. This will allow web guy to do all the tech work and I will be looking at every day operations and problems. I hope that this will work to help relieve some of the frustrations. I'm sorry for those that had problems in the past but I will do everything possible to correct or have them corrected. Please bare with me till I have this meeting and i also may have a learning process.
