Our club trip to Longwood Garden's was complete success. We arrived in time to avoid the lines at the ticket counter we walked right in. We toured the Christmas display inside and out and was able to enjoy the light display on a clear, dry, chilly evening. By the time we left 6:30 the ticket line was very large and the traffic was backed up by a 1/2 mile on route 1. Unfortunately the crowd there was just a little to large to stay together as group, there were 22 of us so we ended up breaking off. However after the tour we headed to Chadd's Ford Tavern. It was great we all had a nice dinner can't wait to go back. I'd like to that club member Bruce Macphai for recomending the place. We had a great time and I will plan a return visit for Christmas 2005. Here are some pictures enjoy.
