Here are 2 pics of the ZL-1 owned by Roger Judski in Orlando. This is one of 2 or 3 known to exist, depending upon the urban legend you subscribe to. The black book says there are 2 of these 1969 L88 cars. This is one of the rarest Corvettes in existence.

When you visit the Orlando area, I recommend a visit to Roger's just to see his inventory. He's about 1/2 hour or so from the Disney resort area off of I4 just east of Orlando, and specializes in the C4 and C5 cars. He's originally from Pa about 10 miles from me in the Norristown area. Chances are if you stop by to look at his cars he will be there to meet you.

WOW, that's too cool! That's the Aluminum 427?

Never saw one before! I'd love to see that car!
Did you get to see under the hood?

The car supposedly packs 550 HP. I didn't get the royal tour because at the time my wife was looking for a not-quite-as-rare Navy Blue Metallic convertible. When she found out there were thousands of NBM cars, she decided on the Medium Purple Pearl she owns today - there were only 146 convertibles painted that color, which is rare by C5 standards. The L88 is being posted because of some recent chatter about one with only 12 miles on it that recently sold at Bloomington for $615,000. Apparently only the C5s are dropping in value! We were debating about which model would be the first to take $1Mil at auction, and when.

I see the '67 L88 is now shown on Roger's web site, so I guess it is true that he bought the car, supposedly for $615,000. This is a red coupe with 12 miles on it! Makes a nice stable-mate for the ZL-1 doesn't it!
