Carburetor question

OK here it is. the car use to idle at 500 rpm's and now it is at 1500 rpm's the choke opens so that is not it. nobody has touched the carb so what could of went wrong in the carb to do this.

Spray some wd-40 on the linkage both sides of the carb. sounds like the high idle cam got stuck.
