crate engines

Does anyone have connections with a GM dealer that sells crate engines at a good discount. Gm parts on line has it for the best price but the shipping is $300. I would like to pick it up. Bryners was $1,500. more then the other dealer.

Don call Gene at Fred Beans Pontiac in Limerik Pa. 610.495.1700 He's a GM parts dealer, but I don't know if he has crate motors. His prices are good and tell him you found out about him from Corvette Forum.

Bill, I picked up the engine yesterday and put it in the 65, It sounds super. I am putting a few miles on it before i put it to the real test 565 Ft.Lbs. of torque should be enough to blaze the tires off!!!!!!!
