I put a coat of Z5 on the SS pickup and preped it with Z6 before a coat of Z2. After I wiped the Z2 down, I noticed on the roof a spot where I must have oversprayed the Z6 and it hardened. I tried to re-wet with Z6, but it didn't seem to work. Is that because there is a coat of Z2 over it? What would you recommend? Since this is the roof, I'm not too worried about it, but still I'd like to know if there is a corrective for this problem.

Try using a clay bar on the spot then reapply the Z-2/ Z-5. That should take care of the problem. Carl what do you think???? Or use the Z-2/ Z-5 to soften the spot then polish.

If you take a damp towel that would remove Z-6, if it is Z-6 on there, usually if you just go over it with more Z-6 it will take it's self off. Can you feel it with your finger? If you did "trap" it under a coat of polish then claying would work, or you can take isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) on a cotton towel and lightly rub that area, that would remove the Zaino and let you get at the spot. That is the first time I have heard of anything like that.

Well I tried everything and I'm left with one conclusion and that is that the clearcoat gun at the factory must have "burped". I must have missed it the when I put on the first coat of Z. I thought it might have been tree sap, but it is way too hard. If it were any other place than the roof, I'd be pee-ohhed, but it is only noticeable by me.
