Advanced Automotive Technologies is proud to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Corvette with a limited production run of the 1953/2003 Commemorative Edition Corvette. By blending the classic styling of the 1950s with performance, comfort, and technology of the 21st century, the Commemorative Edition Corvette offers the best of both eras. Advanced Automotive Technologies, which built the original show car and was a major contributor to the design, has purchased the right to build a limited edition series of this vehicle. It is not an officially endorsed vehicle by General Motors."

Here's the official website (http://www.aatcars.com/)

It looks like it costs $30 grand plus your C5

For more info check the Commemorative Edition page (http://www.aatcars.com/commemorative_edition.htm)

I think I'll pass. It doesn't do anything for me! At some angles, it somewhat resembles the newer version T-bird that's already been pulled from production. I didn't like that either (discounting the fact that it was a F-ord). The C-5's & Z-06 are too nice right out of the box! GM's gonna have to perform a miracle to make the C-6 better!

The trick is to find the right donor car. One of our Registry members found a C5 totalled entirely due to body damage, so it was cheap to save the chassis and convert it to this.

I'm no big fan of those first few years but this looks kind of neat. I wouldn't buy it but it's neat to look at.;jj
