Finally!!

Well fellas,

Sorry I havent been as active much on the board lately, been a lil C6 depressed waiting for my order to be pulled by GM.

Luckily though this Tuesday I got the call that GM finally pulled my order and that I should expect delivery in 7 weeks! Hopefully the snow and bad weather holds off until the new year so I can bring her home!!

Can't wait to get out and do some events with everyone!!!

I wish I was one of the first. There are a few that have already been delivered. I know Kerbeck has two or three incoming, one should be here within a few weeks. I am just glad they finally pulled the darn order!

I would have switched to Kerbeck if they would have been able to give me the $1,000 off sticker that my dealer gave me if I stayed with them. No big deal on the wait, I was getting anxious but it will soon be over. I'm just hoping there is no snow by the time I get her home!

I wondered who you were, Ed told me that you were waiting for a C6, with the few dozen I have seen you will be very pleased, I had a chance two weeks ago to spend an hour behind the wheel of a yellow coupe with Z51, I had a blast and look forward to seeing yours. It's funny the dealer's that were giving 13k off now look at you like you have two heads when you ask for a 1k off the price. :)

Exactly. my dealer was trying to get me to buy one of the CE Z06's for $10k off but I really liked the newer styling. I havent even sat in a C6 yet, have seen a few at dealers but have yet to stop in and check it out thoroughly.

I guess Ed told you what happened to my Firehawk??

Yes he did sorry to say, those are bad a$$ looking cars, I had 5 Trans Ams (76, 77, 78, 80, 84) . You will be very pleased with your new car, and you would have been happy with a C5 as well, but you made the right choice. :)

I received a call yesterday that my yellow, 6spd, Z51, polished wheel coupe will be ready for delivery this Saturday. I've been going nuts since I ordered it and sold my 72 a few weeks ago.

I can't wait to drive it back from Kerbeck! :) :) :cool:
