Ocean City NJ Boardwalk Show
CCDV had a great showing, 20 cars total. What a great showing for a club that had to drive 2 hours to the event.
There were 310 Corvettes on the boards and the weather could not have been better.
We had about 14 of us cruising together down the AC Expressway and I have to thank Nick Cipriano for "Protecting Our Honor" when a Mustang flew past our group on the AC Expressway showing off and Nick pulled out of line and decided to toast the Mustang, once, then again and then Nick just fell back into line with us and we cruised on our way to the show.
It was a blast and that Z06 was looking good.
Here are a few pictures that Sue Magaruh took on the boards.
Thanks Sue

We have to get an CCDV window decal for Leeann to put on her mini Vette. I'm glad you guys had a good time. Did the club get a trophy for the most represented club?

This was a fantastic show and Boardwalk Corvettes of Atlantic City did a terrific job in organizing this event. If you missed this one, mark it on your calendar for next year - You "WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED"!!!

Garden State Corvette Club won that prize but they did not announce how many they had.

I spoke to the president of Boardwalk Corvette's and we just missed. The winning club had 23.... we had 20 + Leeann
I will have my car up on that boardwalk next year for sure. Baby has me too bogged down right now, couldn't even come down to be a spectator this year.

Its a shame i did not see u guys on the road, I left for the shore, late afernoon on saturday, and was able to catch some nice waves on 7 mile island before it got too dark.
I don't think I saw a vette caravan on the way home either. the AC expressway was jammed and slow round 8pm ish.

The New Jersey State Police in responce to the demands of the AARP has issued a $5,000 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest for the driver of this car. The alleged crime involves the driver having too much fun in his little white car in a parade at Ocean City New Jersey.
There are numerous witnesses who can testify that this driver had great fun getting on it and spinning his tires, running red lights, creating much noise and making friends in general along the route of the parade to the boardwalk.
In addition, a grand jury within department of enviormental protection is investigating the mating habits of the sea gulls which may have been disrupted by the noise generated from this car which carries a fine of no less than ten thousand dollars and ten years in prison.

A white Corvette??? AARP???? I don't know who that could be..But I did notice that there were NO bird droppings on a white or a blue (supercharged) C-5's. Scared the stuff right out of them and they stayed away all day.. Several time I did hear the noise of tires and the loud gulping of air from a car behind me... :D :D :D :D

Ooops! Sorry Don about the '95. Glad you said something, I'm working on an article for the Gas Cap and wouldn't want to repeat the same mistake twice. Looks like your name is spelled Rhoads and not Rhodes. Right?
