How do we define the following and what is the difference?
Removable hardtop, Coupe, Convertible, Roadster. I was under the impression that a convertible and roadster were the same thing, at least in Corvettes. Any help?
I have also asked this question in the past. I think the consensus is that over the years the 2 (roadster and convertible) have been used interchangeably.
However, one response that I did get I think nailed it. The only true roadsters are those C1 Corvettes that do not have roll up windows and use the detachable plastic side curtains '53, '54, '55

Vert...roadster...convertible. They're TOO pretty to be called "ragtops" though!

Nah, I don't mind mine being called a ragtop as long as it's said with affection. ;ly
