If you take off doors several times, and they are out of alignment, can they ever be right again? :(
My new 03 Honda had a rattle (from the weatherstripping, I was told by the dealer). After service #6, the rattle seems to be gone, but the doors are not aligned right (since service #5). There are now also paint gouges and scratches.
Add to this, charges for car rentals, the hassles of bringing in the car...
Any suggestions?

It's Sussman Honda, on Easton Road.
The car has almost 5000 miles on it.

The "lemon law" is not as easy as it sounds. I have herd that it can take quite a while to solve a lemon problem. Give the dealer a chance, call the district office and have a rep come out to see what needs to be done to correct your problem. If that doesn't work you'll have to spend $$$$'s to get proper representation.... Good luck...

Thanks for the info. Hopefully, the dealer will be reasonable. So far he's been polite, but hasn't answered most of my questions about the service related problems, the service itself has been repeated and lengthy. Now there are the scratches...

Plus, if you take off doors several times, and they are out of alignment, can they ever be right again?

The Lemon Law covered cars PURCHASED ... but not leased. There is a similar plan in place for leased vehicles. DO NOT DELAY - time limits your options! Call Kimmel & Silverman in Ambler, PA (215/540-8888, or 800-LEMON-LAW). They have offices in PA & NJ. See their website www.LemonLaw.com.
