Just a little additional information on the display.

This particular C5R, chassis #003 is indeed a very important part of the
Corvette history. Following information:

- First Corvette Racing Win (Texas 2000)
- 1st Place Winner 24-Hours of LeMans 2001 and 2002
- 1st Overall Winner 24-Hours of Rolex at Daytona 2001
- 1st Place Texas 2001
- 1st Place Sears Point 2001
- 1st Place Portland 2001
- 1st Place Mid-Ohio 2001
- 1st Place 12-Hours of Sebring
- 1st Place Miami 2002 (last race)

It was displayed at the Monterey Historic together with other Daytona
24-Hours Overall race winners.

Chassis #003 will be displayed from June 2 to July 2. Courtesy of

Betty mentions the 24 hour Rolex win at Daytona in 2001. As I recall it was this car #3 that was driven by Dale Earnhardt in that race, just a week or two before he was killed in the NASCAR race.

You are correct Carl! Hey - Webcam #3 for #3 (#3 chassis as well). This MUST be why they say GOOD THINGS COME IN THREE'S! AWESOME!
