Will bypassing the mufflers with electric cutouts or what I call exhaust dampers, give any more power or torque, or is is just a noise thing?

There is a new vendor on the Forum touting 22-24 RWHP & TQ gains.....

El, Why? You're already at the point of needing a roll cage besides like Edgar said you won't pass tech if you open them up too much. I'd ask around to see if anybody else is running them at the track. If they're not having any problems with tech then go for it. That way you tune for the extra power you might need to get to the 12.00 mark on those bummer hot days!

Richy, you are correct the tech guy will not know.
He will pass tech.

However, if they are opened up at the line, anyone under the tower or any official for that matter, can give him the boot with no refund.
