The BMW "Precision Driving Experience" at the Race track was a blast. A short class, practice braking, practice laps (also a ride as a passenger with a professional driver was a thrill) & then timed laps with a relay race.
I did well :D  Even the heat wasn't a problem.
What an adrenaline rush!
Afterwards, I drove a BMW for 20 miles for breast cancer research. I drove a manual 330i - it could growl a little, but not like a deep growl that a vette can produce.
I think the event continues to Sunday.

I was suprised how much they let us beat the cars last year when I did this. :)

It was free! :D
My son was invited by a client, but he was too young (under 21). So then I got my chance. However, I think they do take walk-ins, because when you sign-in, they ask if you are registered, and you can be referred by a friend.
Perhaps there's more info on bmwusa.com.
The 20 mile drive was for the benefit of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Also free.
My son is now going for their 5 hour driving class on Sunday!
Sunday is the last day.
