Thats GREAT Tony, :D
You have been waiting a long time for this weather to change.
This rain has slowed construction everywhere.

Tony B.96LT4
06-26-03, 07:14 AM
The start date was suppose to be the 21st of May but with all the rain and time it took for the permits they didn't start the actual construction till this week. It'll take about 3 weeks weather permitting. :D

T & R,while you're at it,how about a "tree" in the new drive way
so we can practice launches, etc. and improve our RTs and 60' times?Would also be helpful in eliminating those "bad weather"
blues when the strips are closed down.

How about a lift so we don't have to lay on the floor for the next clutch? :) :)

Congrats and hope the rain stays away long enough to get it under roof. If you need some finishing help let me know.

Wow!! That's great. How wide are the doors? And I can't really tell for sure from the pictures, are there support columns for the roof? Or will you really have a a 48' wide space without those @#&! lolly columns!
I hope they finish soon.. Good luck.

Tony,
Looks GREAT!!! :D
I see they got the stress relief cuts in. Used a Soff-Cut saw. Those saws are the best. They allow you to cut the floor the same day as the pour.
I love mine, I would be lost without it.
See you sat, afternoon at E-Town. I'm pouring some concrete at Dave and Billie Satchells in the morning. I won't make the Vette Magazine show in the am.
Again, The garage looks great!

It may not be a Vette, but it is plastic! BTW keep in mind that the all the garage doors are 9 foot wide. Because of the angle of the pic it looks smaller than it really is.

Thanks Rick, It goes on like regular paint except you have to mix the two parts together. We used an 18" roller which cut the time in half. Rose edged and threw the paint chips on the fresh paint, I rolled the paint onto the floor. Took 2.5 hours of steady work, but we really like how it came out. Best part is this is a one coat paint. Some of the other paints we looked at reccommended two coats. Cleanup was good too because it's a water based paint.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I'd also like to give a plug to Lou Menta our electrician, who did the wiring and upgraded our house to 200 amp service. His number is 215-822-2076. Anyone who has ever worked in a dimmly lit garage will appreciate what Lou did. There isn't a dark spot in the place. He's an excellent electrician and I can recommend him to anyone needing any type of electrical work, commercial or residential. He does it all. Looking forward to seeing y'all on the garage tour Sept. 27th. There may even be a driveway in by then. :D
