Went for a quick errand yesterday. All of a sudden my Ruby started missing and acting starved for fuel, could that be? Had half a tank of gas. Thought possibly the fuel pump gave out. Naturally I had to be in a extremely bad spot where cars were coming flying around this curve from both ways. Fortunately the local police just happened by. Called for a tow just to get the vette out of there. Took it to the local shop. OUT OF GAS!! WHY!
Need help, mechanic said the fuel gauge sensor must be bad. There is a fuel gauge assembly and it seems in one of my books that there is also a part called a fuel sensor. Could it be taht is all I need instead of the complete assembly as the mechanic said? The gauge reads 1/2 tank, I have now filled the tank and I will be allright, however, I want to get it fixed. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone run into the same problem?
