I had a client at Centennial Villages yesterday. While going to the clients apartment I bottomed out REALLY bad on the speedbumps there. The car basically "teeter tottered" over the bumps. Now my car makes really bad metal on metal noises when I put it in gear whether it be in reverse or drive. Any idea what this could be?
I do not like centennial villages! All the clients I have there are idiots and never can pay the bill! Now my car is shot up because of it and I am NEVER going to take a client from there again!!!!

Better get it up on a lift! Double your fees in that area or get another work vehicle. You should have known better than to try and navigate those speed bumps.
If your clients don't pay, WHY are they still CLIENTS?

That place is basically the slums of Warminster. As I said, I am NEVER going there again. The clients do pay but it takes at least a month for them to scrounge up the money. They should think before they call me! Don't they realize that getting anything fixed costs money!? All I charge is freakin $65/h for repairing computers which isnt much considering what other places charge! So I took his computer back untill he could pay. But my poor car. It can take speedbumps no problem but the speedbumps there are for some odd reason alot higher then other speedbumps.
Did I mention I hate Centennial Village?
Gotta wait till mon to take her to the shop. It's such a nice day to go out for a cruise too... :(

Hope it's nothing major.
Good Luck James!

James,
Could be a dented/damaged trans dust cover (where torque converter is), driveshaft problem, or perhaps some other metal simply rubbing on the driveshaft. I would suggest having it towed to wherever you're going to have it looked at to avoid any further drive train damage.

Mechanic called back and gave me the bad news. Ripped a hole in the exhaust and the transmission fluid is leaking also.
It's not expensive to fix though so I'm happy. I was expecting over $1000 but its less then $200 and will be done today at 3pm :D
Big sigh of relief.

Transmission is being replaced now. Arrr.
It's the original so it lasted a while. If not for the speedbump it would have lasted longer. :(
