Well it was touch and go the morning of the Rally but the rain held off and it turned out to be a much better day than accuweather predicted. We had 20 folks run the Rally they were, Jeanne Pfaff, Dale B,Ed Bonk and his son John, Stan & Maryanne Fisher, Walt & Donna Boyko, Rich Meier, Steve Bennetson, Joe Signore and Mike W, Paul & Ginny Wydominic, Tony & Rose, Chris Terranova & Nancy Canto, John Bemschuk and his Brother Joe (Joe and John I apologize if i've missplelled your last name). Bob Rosenberg joined us for Breaskfast but could'nt run the Rally.
Everything went great, no mishaps, nobody got lost and the point difference between the first place car and last was not that great.
Rich Meier and Steve Bennetson (last Rally's winner) took first place. Paul and Ginny Wydominc took 2nd. Joe Bemschuk and his Brother Joe took first place Rookie and Walter and Donna Boyko took 2nd place Rookie.
Walter and Donna Boyko also won the Poker Run with the prize being $175.
I would like to Thank all those that helped putting this together Paul and Ginny Wydominic, Tony and Rose and my Wife Chris.
A great time was had by everyone, if you've never run a Rally/Poker Run you don't know what your missing. I have always felt that this type of Rally is the best way to enjoy a nice ride thru the countryside. Because of the comical clues your looking for along the way you cannot become becoming bored and because it's not timed you can take your time. Even if you have never done anything like this in the past you will figure it out in 5 minutes. Now that we've added a Poker Run to it the fun is multiplied. Ask Walt, after he won the pot his Wife Donna dragged him to Peddlers Village.
